Our products are all made unless specially requested using PLA (polylactic acid).
We use this product for various different reasons: Unlike most plastic products PLA is not oil based PLA is derived from renewable plant based sources such as sugarcane and corn-starch Due to not using fossil fuels this makes our products more sustainable and less impactful; to the environment. In the correct circumstances PLA is biodegradable, but does not biodegrade in normal household conditions.
